Inaugural Post Musings

Welp, here I am. This has been a goal of mine for quite a while. Starting a blog that is- not just sitting in a chair in front of my computer.

So what am I going to blog about? Probably whatever I feel like. That's the point of a blog right? I get to ramble about whatever suits my fancy, and perhaps others will find my ramblings to be somewhat interesting? Sounds right up my alley.

At the very least I suppose I can tell all you non-existent readers out there what to expect. I like lists, so I think I'll make a list (my very first blog list!).

Types of Posts to Expect to See on This Here Blog:

1. Food. I am a big-time food lover. I cook at least 4-5 nights a week and bake at least 1-2 times a week. Pretty much everything has some southern flavor (seeing as how I am a Georgia girl born and raised!), but I dabble in other genres as well. The only thing I love more than cooking is exploring local restaurants with my SO. So you can bet on seeing some recipes and posts about our N. Georgia restaurant adventures. Yeehaw!

2. Oct 13, 2012. That is the day that my SO (we'll call him P) plan to tie the knot! We got engaged on April Fools Day 2011 and are planning a N. Georgia Mountain shindig with lots of family, friends, and local flavor.

3. The rest of my life. Aside from the above two topics you'll probably here about some of the following: the new job I start in two weeks, my quest to pass the GA bar in Feb, my crazy family, and last but not least.... gratuitous pictures of my dog Waylon.

What's my next step? Well I'd love to hear from those of you who happen by here. If any of you have blogs of your own (which I will gladly follow)  I'd love to hear your tips. And please share with me any blogging resources you think a total newby should know about.

Thanks for stopping by!
